I had purposely avoided driving a TT as I have had my NA for 2 years and have been very happy with it. Well, at the Z Club of TX meeting last night this guy had a silver '96 TT with a '95 loom and JWT ECU + GReddy PE's like mine, gutted cats, pre-cats, T-28's, bigger injectors, running 17 lbs boost. Well, I was admiring it and asked to hear the PE's on a turbo. I mentioned I had never even riden in a TT, well, he dumped his passenger our and took me for a spin. 450hp is what he said it is putting out....barked tires in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, AND 4th!!!!! OH MY GOD!!!! it was FAST!!! He drove for about 5 mins, then pulled over and asked if I wanted to drive!!! DUH!! So, took me a couple shifts to get used to the 1" off teh floor engagment point of the stage 3 clutch or whatever it was, then I was off. It was awesome!! Drop it int third, turbo hits about 4K...you are just gone!! He let me driv it for about 15 mins up and down I-75 north of 635. Talk about power being adictive :). So now, I don't know if I can stand to live with my pretty little NA anymore. So, my NA is in very good shape allaround, cosmetically and mechanically, but has 151K miles. So, if I just got a TT loom and JWT ECU and bought a rebuilt TT motor sans turbos and got a good set of aftermarket ones, and headers would I be almost OK financially if I did most of the work myself? I mean my Z is nice and clean and has no signs of wear inside or scratched plastic or anything like that, and I already have a sweet stereo setup, ureathane rack bushings, PE''s underdrive pulley, etc. Damn, that TT was fast, I need one!!!! What should I do? Mike
